Iran Claims Strikes on US Bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for attacks on US military positions in Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq, escalating tensions between Tehran and Washington.
In a statement, the IRGC said it targeted the US Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait, claiming that it struck the living quarters and command post of the base’s American commander. The IRGC said the operation demonstrated its ability to gather detailed intelligence on US military movements across the region.
The IRGC also claimed to have attacked a military camp in Jordan housing US Marines and destroyed a control system linked to a US surveillance balloon at an American base in Iraq.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said more than 50 people were killed or wounded in a US strike on a house in Sirik, where a wedding was reportedly taking place.
Baqaei condemned the alleged attack, saying it could not be separated from what he described as a broader pattern of US strikes in Minab, Lamerd, Qeshm and other areas.
The claims come amid heightened tensions and ongoing military confrontation between Iran and the United States. The reported attacks and casualty figures have yet to be independently verified.
