India Sends Fifth Relief Aircraft to Flood-Hit Nepal

India has sent its fifth aircraft carrying relief and rescue assistance to flood-hit Nepal as rescue and relief operations continue in the country.
The aircraft, which arrived in Nepal on Wednesday afternoon, carried an 11-member rescue team equipped with specialised tunnel rescue equipment and 5.5 tonnes of essential medicines.
India has assured Nepal of continued support and said it will extend all possible assistance to the ongoing rescue and relief efforts.
The Indian Ambassador to Nepal shared the information in a social media post.
