Governor Unveils Assam Rifles Book Showcasing Tripura’s Heritage

Governor of Tripura Indra Sena Reddy Nallu on Tuesday unveiled “Tripura: The Land of Timeless Tales – Culture and Tourism”, a book published by the 21 Sector Assam Rifles showcasing the state's rich cultural heritage, historical legacy, scenic beauty and tourism potential.
The book was formally released by the Governor at a programme organised by the Assam Rifles at the Alpha Auditorium of the 21 Sector Assam Rifles in Agartala.
Highlighting Tripura's diverse identity, the publication presents a comprehensive account of the state's important tourist destinations, vibrant cultural traditions, picturesque landscapes and other significant features. The book aims to introduce Tripura's cultural treasures and tourism potential to a wider audience.
Governor Nallu expressed his happiness at being associated with the publication and appreciated the initiative of the 21 Sector Assam Rifles in bringing out a book dedicated to showcasing the beauty and cultural richness of Tripura. He congratulated the officers and personnel of the Assam Rifles for their efforts towards promoting the state through the publication.
Brigadier Nishant Chandel, Commander of the 21 Sector Assam Rifles, was present at the programme along with other officers and contributors associated with the book.
Major Purva Singh, editor of the publication, was felicitated by Governor Nallu in recognition of her contribution to the book. Havildar Nithin Das was also honoured by the Governor for his valuable contribution to the publication.
The initiative by the Assam Rifles is expected to further strengthen efforts to promote Tripura's tourism sector and showcase the state's rich heritage and scenic destinations to visitors from across the country and beyond.
