Mayor Hands Over PMAY-U 2.0 Work Orders to 71 Families

Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder on Saturday handed over work orders for the construction of permanent houses to 71 selected beneficiary families under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Urban 2.0 (PMAY-U 2.0) in Ward No. 36 of the Agartala Municipal Corporation.
Speaking at the programme, Majumder expressed happiness over the initiative and said the housing scheme would help fulfil the long-standing dream of economically weaker and underprivileged families to own permanent homes.
He urged the beneficiaries to complete construction within the stipulated timeframe while strictly adhering to government guidelines and prescribed norms.
Ward No. 36 Corporator Nitu Dey, former Tripura BJP state president Manoj Kanti Debroy, Tripura Minorities Development Corporation Chairman Jasim Uddin, along with other local representatives and social workers, were present at the programme.
The 71 beneficiary families expressed their joy after receiving the work orders, marking an important step towards securing permanent housing and improving their living conditions.
