Ektaa Kapoor backs Sajid Khan’s ‘Hero Ki Horrorine’

Ektaa R. Kapoor has joined hands with producer Amar Butala for Sajid Khan’s upcoming horror-comedy Hero Ki Horrorine, which is set to hit theatres on January 7, 2027.
Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor and Amar Butala, the film is a Jai Ho Media Ventures production and will be presented by Balaji Telefilms Ltd. Sajid Khan is directing the project, which blends supernatural elements with comedy, romance and entertainment.
Ektaa Kapoor has previously been associated with the horror-comedy genre, with Bhooth Bangla emerging as a successful theatrical release earlier this year. With Hero Ki Horrorine, the makers aim to offer audiences another big-screen entertainer combining horror and humour.
The film features an ensemble cast including Yashvrdhn Ahuja, Nitanshi Goel, Sunita Ahuja, Jamie Lever, Chunky Panday, Brijendra Kala and Simrat Kaur Randhawa.
For Yashvrdhn Ahuja, Hero Ki Horrorine marks his debut as a leading actor in Hindi cinema. He will be paired opposite Nitanshi Goel, who plays the female lead.
Amar Butala, known for producing films such as Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kesari and the critically acclaimed Mission Majnu, has come on board as a producer alongside Ektaa R. Kapoor.
Directed by Sajid Khan, Hero Ki Horrorine promises to bring together horror, romance and comedy in a theatrical entertainer scheduled for release on January 7, 2027.
