Minister Bikash Debbarma Takes Up Tripura Students’ Welfare in West Bengal

Tripura Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma on Thursday held a meeting with West Bengal Cabinet Minister Kshudiram Tudu in Kolkata, focusing on the welfare, educational opportunities and overall interests of Tripura students studying in West Bengal.
During the meeting, Debbarma discussed a range of issues faced by students from Tripura pursuing higher education in the neighbouring state. The discussions covered academic opportunities, student welfare and the support mechanisms available to help students continue their studies in a safe and conducive environment.
The two ministers also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation to ensure that Tripura students receive adequate support during their academic journey. Particular emphasis was placed on creating an environment that would enable students to concentrate on their education, improve their academic performance and work towards better career prospects.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of coordination between the two states on matters concerning students from Tripura who are currently studying in West Bengal.
Debbarma later described the interaction as meaningful and expressed his gratitude to Kshudiram Tudu for sparing time to discuss issues related to the welfare and educational interests of Tripura students.
