CM Manik Saha Recalls Maharaja Bir Bikram’s Legacy

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday paid floral tribute to Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur on his 118th birth anniversary and highlighted the former ruler’s enduring contribution to the making of modern Tripura.
Dr Saha offered floral tributes at Maharaja Bir Bikram’s portrait at Zero Point in Agartala. In a social media post, the Chief Minister described Maharaja Bir Bikram as the architect of modern Tripura and paid his “humble tribute” to the former ruler.
“His contributions, ideals and people-centric vision will always remain memorable to all of us,” Dr Saha said in his post.
The Chief Minister further said that his government was moving forward by following the path shown by Maharaja Bir Bikram, with the aim of building a developed Tripura.
Dr Saha’s post underlined the continued relevance of Maharaja Bir Bikram’s vision and legacy in the state’s development journey.
