Indian Grandmaster R. Praggnanandhaa made a strong comeback at the 2026 Sinquefield Cup, defeating Dutch Grandmaster Jorden Van Foreest in the fourth round on Friday.
Praggnanandhaa, who had suffered a defeat against Germany’s Vincent Keymer in the previous round, responded confidently to move his tally to 2½ points from four games. The result put him in a share of second place in the 10-player, nine-round tournament.
