Ram Pada Jamatia Inaugurates New Academic Block at Killa EMRS

Agartala, August 13: Tripura Legislative Assembly Speaker Ram Pada Jamatia on Thursday inaugurated the newly constructed Academic Block of the 480-seat Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) at Killa under Killa R.D. Block in Gomati district, in the presence of Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma.The new academic block is expected to strengthen educational infrastructure for tribal students by providing a better learning environment and improved facilities to support their academic growth and overall development.
Speaking at the inauguration, Ram Pada Jamatia emphasized the importance of quality education in creating greater opportunities for students from tribal communities. He said strengthening institutions like EMRS is an important step towards ensuring equal educational opportunities and building a better future for tribal youth.
Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma said the institution would play an important role in nurturing the dreams and potential of young tribal students. He expressed confidence that students of the school would go on to make meaningful contributions to the future development of Tripura.The government has been emphasizing the strengthening of educational institutions in tribal areas to ensure students have access to quality education and the facilities required to pursue their aspirations.
