CM Saha Hails Blood Donation Drive, Calls It a ‘Commitment to Humanity’

Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday lauded a blood donation camp organised by Ward No. 20 of the Agartala Municipal Corporation, describing voluntary blood donation as a unique commitment to humanity.
Addressing the significance of such initiatives through a social media post, Saha said humanitarian efforts of this kind help strengthen the values of compassion, social responsibility and service in society.
Expressing his happiness at being present at the blood donation camp, the Chief Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the organisers as well as all voluntary blood donors who came forward to help save lives.
“Blood donation is a unique commitment to humanity,” Saha said, stressing the importance of encouraging more people to participate in voluntary blood donation and community-oriented initiatives.
AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder, Ward No. 20 Councillor Ratna Dutta and other dignitaries were also present at the programme.
The Chief Minister’s message highlighted the vital role of voluntary blood donors in supporting patients in need and underlined the importance of fostering a stronger culture of community service and humanitarian responsibility.
