Secretary IT and Finance Reviews Digital Initiatives at IT Bhavan

Key Digital Tripura initiatives and e-Governance projects were presented to Dr. Parshant Kumar Goyal, IAS, Secretary, IT and Finance, during his visit to IT Bhavan, Agartala, on Friday morning, as part of a review of the state's ongoing digital governance push.
The Secretary visited the Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Tripura, where Jeya Ragul Geshan B., IFS, Director, IT, briefed him on the key initiatives being undertaken by the Directorate. The briefing covered Digital Tripura projects, e-Governance efforts and IT initiatives aimed at strengthening the state's digital governance framework and enhancing citizen-centric service delivery.
During the visit, the Secretary interacted with senior officers, officials and Project Management Unit members of the Directorate. He also inspected the infrastructure and critical facilities available at IT Bhavan.
The Secretary appreciated the ongoing initiatives undertaken by the Directorate and shared valuable suggestions and guidance for further strengthening Tripura's digital transformation journey.
According to the Directorate of Information and Technology, Government of Tripura, the visit forms part of continued efforts to review and support the state's digital governance framework. The interaction is expected to provide further direction to the Directorate's ongoing projects.
The visit comes as the state continues to expand its digital infrastructure and e-Governance services, with the Directorate playing a central role in implementing initiatives aimed at improving service delivery to citizens across Tripura.
