Super 100 Scheme Announced to Boost Indigenous Civil Service Officers

As part of its continued efforts to uplift indigenous communities, the Tripura Tribal Welfare Department has introduced the "Super 100 Scheme" to sponsor 40 top-tier Scheduled Tribe candidates for intensive Civil Services Examination coaching.
Spearheaded under the leadership of Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma, the initiative equips candidates with top-tier guidance for competitive examinations including IAS, IPS, IFS, and IFoS over a 12-month period. To relieve financial constraints, the department provides a course fee ceiling of up to Rs 2,60,000 and an accommodation allowance ceiling of Rs 1,40,000 per student.
The scheme is open to Scheduled Tribe residents of Tripura who have graduated with a minimum score of 60 percent. Additionally, the annual family income must not exceed Rs 10.00 lakhs, verified through a certificate issued on or after March 3, 2026.
Admission into the program will be decided through an offline departmentally conducted selection test tentatively slated for the third week of September 2026. Shortlisted candidates based on test scores will be invited for counseling and verification, with specific tie-breaking rules applied if necessary.
The window for online applications opened on August 3, 2026, and will close on August 31, 2026. Applicants must upload their photograph and signature when registering online at twd.tripura.gov.in.
