Chief Minister Dr. Saha to visit Delhi, Election Strategy Likely On Agenda

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha is scheduled to visit New Delhi on Tuesday as part of his regular organisational responsibilities, with the party's upcoming election strategy expected to figure prominently in the discussions.

Speaking on the visit, the Chief Minister said such trips to Delhi are a routine part of his organisational duties. "We have to visit Delhi regularly to discuss these matters. Discussing organisational issues, workshops and other programmes is the main purpose of this visit," he said.

According to Saha, no specific agenda for the visit has been officially announced so far, and the matters to be taken up will become clearer once he reaches Delhi. However, he indicated that the upcoming elections are likely to be one of the key subjects of discussion, with preparations, strategy and the party's organisational approach to the polls expected to come up during the meetings.

"There is a strong possibility that discussions will focus on how to approach the upcoming elections. That is the reason for this visit, not any other purpose," the Chief Minister said.

It is learned that several political parties in the state have already begun preparations ahead of a series of elections and organisational programmes. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister's Delhi visit is expected to see important discussions on the party's organisational coordination, election preparedness and future political strategy.
