Agartala-bound Trains Rescheduled, Regulated Due To Track Restoration Near New Harangajao

In view of ongoing restoration work near New Harangajao station following settlement of railway tracks, the Northeast Frontier Railway has rescheduled the Agartala-Narangi and Narangi-Agartala Express trains, and announced that the Deoghar-Agartala Express will be regulated enroute on August 3.
According to the Northeast Frontier Railway, the 15650 Narangi-Agartala Express, scheduled to run on August 4, will now depart from Narangi at 22:30 hrs. Similarly, the 15649 Agartala-Narangi Express, also scheduled for August 4, will depart from Agartala at 23:30 hrs.
Meanwhile, the 15625 Deoghar-Agartala Express, scheduled to run on August 3, will be regulated enroute suitably, the railway authorities said.
Besides the Agartala-linked services, the restoration work has led to wider disruptions on the Northeast Frontier Railway network. The 15615 Guwahati-Silchar Express, scheduled for August 4, and the 15616 Silchar-Guwahati Express, scheduled for August 5, have been cancelled.
Several other trains have also been rescheduled. The 15609 Guwahati-Sairang Express will now depart from Guwahati at 23:30 hrs, while the 15610 Sairang-Guwahati Express will depart from Sairang at 21:30 hrs, both on August 4. The 15611 Rangiya-Silchar Express will depart from Rangiya at 23:30 hrs on the same day, while the 15612 Silchar-Rangiya Express will depart from Silchar at 05:00 hrs on August 5. The 15628 Silchar-Coimbatore Jn. Express, originally scheduled for August 4, will now depart from Silchar at 04:10 hrs on August 5.
The Northeast Frontier Railway has advised passengers to check updated schedules before travelling, as the restoration work near New Harangajao station continues.
