Tripura Sets 10 August Deadline for ST Scholarship Aadhaar Seeding

The State Government has set 10 August 2026 as the last date for 320 ST Post-Matric Scholarship beneficiaries across Tripura's eight districts to complete pending Aadhaar-Bank Account seeding, failing which their scholarship disbursement for AY/FY 2025-26 may be delayed.
According to the official notice, the affected students are those whose scholarship payment remains pending due to Aadhaar-Bank Account DBT seeding issues. Students have been requested to complete the seeding process with their respective banks before the deadline to ensure smooth disbursement of funds.
The notice also stated that students whose NSP beneficiary status is shown as "UID Never Enabled for DBT" or "UID Disabled for DBT" must complete the required seeding process immediately to enable successful scholarship disbursement through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
District-wise figures shared in the notice show the number of students yet to complete Aadhaar seeding as follows: West Tripura 86, South Tripura 44, Dhalai 39, Sepahijala 35, Gomati 26, Khowai 17, North Tripura 15, and Unakoti 8.
Officials said the 320 students fall under the 3rd Provision of the scheme, and students have been advised to check the Annexure to verify their status and take necessary action before the cutoff date.
The notice further urged all eligible students to complete the Aadhaar-Bank account seeding process within the stipulated time in order to avoid any delay in receiving their scholarship payment.
