CM Manik Saha Unveils Rs 178 Crore Development Push for South Tripura

Reaffirming his government's commitment to inclusive and infrastructure-led development, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Friday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for multiple development projects worth Rs 178 crore in South Tripura district.
Sharing the update on his official social media handle, the Chief Minister said the projects cover key sectors such as education, healthcare, road infrastructure, and tribal welfare, aimed at enhancing public services and improving the quality of life for residents.
Dr. Saha said development remains the cornerstone of his government's agenda and that the newly launched projects will accelerate the district's growth while addressing the long-standing needs and aspirations of the people.
Highlighting the government's sustained focus on South Tripura, the Chief Minister noted that projects worth nearly Rs 406 crore have been inaugurated or had their foundation stones laid in the district over the past two years. He said these initiatives represent a major milestone in strengthening infrastructure and ensuring balanced regional development.
The Chief Minister reiterated that his government remains committed to delivering people-centric development by investing in critical sectors that contribute to the state's overall progress and inclusive growth.
