CM Manik Saha Unveils ₹8.9-Crore Projects to Boost Khowai Development

Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Thursday inaugurated seven development projects worth ₹8.9 crore in Khowai district, reaffirming the Tripura government's commitment to balanced and inclusive development under its vision of a "Viksit Tripura."
Highlighting the achievement through his official social media handle, Dr. Saha said the projects, implemented under the Education, Rural Development, Social Welfare & Social Education, Urban Development, and Drinking Water & Sanitation Departments, mark a significant milestone in Khowai's development journey.
As part of the programme, the Chief Minister also distributed eight Smart OPD Kits under the Health Department to strengthen healthcare services and improve access to quality medical care in the district.
Dr. Saha said the newly inaugurated projects would provide safer, more convenient, and improved public services while enhancing infrastructure and accelerating socio-economic development in Khowai. He expressed confidence that the initiatives would contribute to better educational facilities, rural infrastructure, urban amenities, drinking water services, social welfare, and healthcare delivery.
Describing the occasion as the beginning of a new chapter for Khowai, the Chief Minister said the projects reflect the government's unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life of the people and ensuring that the benefits of development reach every section of society. He added that the initiatives would play a crucial role in building a stronger and more prosperous future for the district and further strengthen the vision of a developed Tripura.
