CM Manik Saha Inaugurates Upgraded Gymnasium in Khowai, Boosts Sports Infrastructure

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday inaugurated the newly renovated Bhagat Singh Gymnasium at Bankar in Khowai district, marking another step towards strengthening sports infrastructure and promoting fitness among the people of the state.
The Chief Minister announced the development through his official social media handle, stating that the renovation work of the gymnasium was completed at a cost of Rs. 21.55 lakh. The upgraded facility has been equipped with modern amenities to cater to the fitness and sporting requirements of local residents.
Dr. Saha said the renovated gymnasium would provide better opportunities, especially for the youth, to engage in physical activities and pursue fitness goals. He highlighted that the initiative reflects the state government's commitment to developing quality sports facilities at the grassroots level and building a healthier and more progressive Tripura.
Reiterating his government's focus on expanding sports infrastructure across the state, the Chief Minister said improved facilities would encourage young athletes to participate in various sporting disciplines and help them achieve greater success.
Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Tinku Roy and other dignitaries were present during the inauguration ceremony.
