PM Modi assures Centre’s support after reviewing Assam flood situation with MPs

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reviewed the flood situation in Assam during a meeting with the state's Members of Parliament.
Following the meeting, the Prime Minister said the Centre is working closely with the Assam Government to provide all possible assistance to those affected by the floods. He assured the MPs of the Central Government's continued support in relief and rehabilitation efforts.
In a post on social media, Mr Modi said he had discussed the prevailing flood situation in different parts of the state and reiterated the Centre's commitment to helping flood-affected people. He also prayed for the safety and well-being of everyone impacted by the disaster.
