Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee on Monday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and held discussions on Tripura's prevailing political situation and key development priorities for the state.
Sharing details of the meeting through a social media post, Bhattacharjee said he paid a courtesy visit to the Union Home Minister and discussed a range of issues concerning Tripura’s political landscape as well as ongoing and future development initiatives.
The BJP MP described the meeting as meaningful and constructive, expressing confidence that the Centre would continue to support the state's growth and welfare. He also conveyed his gratitude to Amit Shah for his guidance and continued commitment towards Tripura's progress.
The meeting assumes significance as the state continues to focus on infrastructure development, economic growth and the effective implementation of various Central government initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the people of Tripura.
