CM Manik Saha Stresses Guru Ravidas’ Ideals of Equality

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday underscored the enduring relevance of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj's teachings, saying the revered saint's message of equality, humanity and social harmony continues to inspire society.
In a social media post, Dr. Saha described Guru Ravidas as a great saint and social reformer who dedicated his life to eradicating untouchability and social discrimination while promoting the values of equality, brotherhood and justice. He said the saint's timeless ideals remain a guiding force in building an inclusive and harmonious society.
Highlighting the 650th birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas Maharaj, the Chief Minister said the Tripura BJP has launched the "Sampreeti Sankalp Abhiyan" with a series of programmes to commemorate the occasion and spread the saint's message across the state.
Dr. Saha also informed that he attended an organisational workshop at the BJP state office on Saturday, where party leaders reviewed preparations for the effective implementation of the campaign. He expressed confidence that the initiative would further strengthen the values of social harmony, unity and equality among the people.
