Arijit Singh’s team has clarified that the singer has not made a comeback to playback singing following the release of “Yeh Awarapan” from Awarapan 2.
The song’s release led fans to believe that Arijit had reversed his earlier decision to step away from playback projects. However, his manager stated that the track was part of commitments finalized before his retirement announcement.
“Arijit is only completing projects that were locked before the retirement announcement. He is not making a comeback in playback singing and is not taking up new playback projects,” the manager clarified.
The team’s statement puts an end to speculation surrounding the singer’s return, confirming that his upcoming releases are only the result of prior professional commitments.
