Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee on Monday attended the first sitting of Parliament’s 2026 Monsoon Session and reiterated his commitment to upholding the interests and aspirations of the people.
In a social media post, Bhattacharjee described Parliament as the “sacred temple of democracy” and expressed hope that the session would be productive and contribute to the country’s development and progress.
“On the opening day of Parliament’s 2026 Monsoon Session, I attended the first sitting. We are committed to upholding the hopes and interests of the people in the sacred temple of democracy. I hope this session proves productive and significant for the country’s development and progress,” he wrote.
Bhattacharjee emphasised the importance of constructive debates and discussions in Parliament and reaffirmed his commitment to representing the concerns and expectations of the people during the session.
