CM Manik Saha Reviews Agartala Projects, Calls for Timely Completion

Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday conducted an extensive inspection of on-going road and urban development projects across Agartala, directing officials to ensure that all works are completed within the stipulated time without compromising on quality.
The inspection, aimed at reviewing the progress of civic infrastructure and public service projects, was carried out in the presence of Agartala Mayor Dipak Majumder, Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, Agartala Municipal Commissioner Saju Wahid, Urban Development Department Secretary Dr. Milind Ramteke, Secretary Kiran Gitte, Ward No. 20 Corporator Ratna Datta and other senior officials.
During the visit, the Chief Minister reviewed the status of various development works and instructed the concerned departments to maintain strict quality standards while expediting execution. He stressed that timely completion of infrastructure projects is essential to improve urban amenities and enhance the quality of life for citizens.
Dr. Saha also directed officials to closely monitor the progress of the projects and ensure that construction standards are maintained at every stage. He said development works should be completed efficiently and handed over to the public only after proper quality checks.
Speaking on the inspection, Mayor Dipak Majumder said the visit covered several ongoing projects across the city and reflected the state government's commitment to strengthening Agartala's urban infrastructure and providing better civic services to residents.
