TRLM to Develop 1,000 Women-led Micro Enterprises Across Five Blocks

Agartala, Jul 15: TRLM is set to develop 1,000 women-led micro enterprises across five blocks, Ganganagar, Gour Nagar, Tulasikhar, Karbook and Silachari, over the next 18 months, with its Udyog Didis (CRP-EPs) mentoring 20 SHG members each. The organisation said Tuesday that an intensive training programme for these mentors was held at RUDSETI, Agartala.
According to TRLM, each Udyog Didi will mentor and handhold SHG members through their entrepreneurial journey, offering guidance on business planning, enterprise development, access to financial loans and market linkages. The end goal, the organisation said, is to help these women become Lakhpati Didis.
To ensure quality implementation, TRLM is partnering with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Chennai, and the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati, for technical support and capacity building.The training programme at RUDSETI was held in the presence of TRLM CEO Tarit Kanti Chakma, the RUDSETI Director and other officials.
