Minister Sudhangshu Das chairs district-level review meeting

Agartala, July 14: Animal Resources Development, Fisheries and Scheduled Castes Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das on Tuesday chaired a district-level review meeting to assess the implementation of various government welfare schemes in West Tripura district.The meeting, held at the Conference Hall of the State Guest House in Agartala, was attended by officials of the Animal Resources Development, Fisheries and Scheduled Castes Welfare Departments, along with public representatives from the district.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the review focused on ensuring that beneficiaries covered under the schemes of the three departments receive government assistance within the stipulated time during the 2026–27 financial year.Sudhangshu Das said the meeting also examined the progress of various ongoing projects and discussed measures to accelerate their implementation.
He stressed the importance of timely delivery of benefits, effective coordination among departments, and regular monitoring to ensure that welfare programmes reach the intended beneficiaries without delay. The Minister directed officials to work in close coordination with public representatives and ensure the effective execution of all developmental and welfare initiatives for the benefit of the people of West Tripura district.
