CEO Tripura Holds Meeting with Political Parties Ahead of Electoral Roll Revision

Agartala, Jul 3: In preparation for the upcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Tripura's electoral rolls, the office of the state's Chief Electoral Officer on Thursday held consultations with representatives of major political parties to discuss ways to strengthen transparency in the process.The meeting was organised on the initiative of Chief Electoral Officer Brijesh Pandey, IAS, and Additional Chief Electoral Officer Usa Jen Mog, IAS.
During the discussion, particular emphasis was placed on ensuring transparency and adopting a cooperative approach in the upcoming Special Intensive Revision of the state's electoral rolls. Representatives of twelve recognised political parties actively participated in the meeting, including AAP, AIFB, AITC, Amra Bangali, BJP, CPI, CPI(M), Congress, IPFT, RSP, TIPRA Motha Party (TMP) and TSP.A
