Akshay Kumar Opts for Profit-Share Model in ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, Reportedly Made on ₹125 Crore Budget

Welcome To The Jungle, the upcoming ensemble entertainer, is reportedly being mounted on a controlled production budget of around ₹125 crore, according to industry sources. Of this, nearly ₹60 crore is said to have been allocated to shooting and core production expenses, reflecting a carefully managed approach despite the film’s large scale and extensive star cast.

In a notable departure from the traditional remuneration model, Akshay Kumar has reportedly chosen to forgo his upfront acting fee for the project. Instead, the actor is said to have come on board on a profit-sharing basis, linking his earnings directly to the film’s commercial performance.

The arrangement is believed to have significantly reduced the film’s initial production burden while aligning the actor’s compensation with the film’s box office success. However, these details remain unconfirmed by the makers and should be considered industry reports at this stage.
