Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described his visit to Seychelles as highly productive, saying it has delivered substantive outcomes that will further strengthen bilateral ties.
In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that the India–Seychelles partnership, built on deep trust and shared progress over the past 50 years, is now poised to enter a new phase focused on innovation, sustainability, and shared prosperity.
Prime Minister Modi also expressed delight at participating in the National Day celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Seychelles' Independence. He thanked Seychelles President Dr. Patrick Herminie, the government, and the people of the island nation for their warm hospitality and affection during his visit.
