Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has said that Tripura is steadily emerging as a national model of good governance, reflecting sustained administrative reforms and citizen-centric development initiatives in the state.
Speaking at an official programme on Thursday, the Chief Minister highlighted that the state’s governance framework has undergone significant transformation in recent years, driven by transparency, efficiency, and effective implementation of welfare schemes.
He said that Tripura’s progress is increasingly being recognised at the national level, with various institutions acknowledging its performance across multiple development indicators.
Dr. Saha stated that the government’s focus has been on strengthening institutional mechanisms, improving service delivery, and ensuring that benefits of development reach every section of society. He added that coordinated efforts of the administration, coupled with policy reforms, have helped Tripura gain visibility as a “front-runner” in governance among smaller states.
He further noted that initiatives in digital governance, infrastructure expansion, and public service reforms have played a key role in enhancing administrative efficiency. According to him, such measures have not only improved governance outcomes but also strengthened public trust in government institutions.
The Chief Minister also emphasised that Tripura’s development journey is aligned with the broader national vision of inclusive and sustainable growth, and the state is committed to continuing reforms that ensure long-term progress.
