CM Manik Saha Unveils ₹65.40 Crore Development Projects in Sepahijala, Reaffirms Focus on Rural and Hill Areas


Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 20 development projects worth ₹65.40 crore in Sepahijala district, underscoring the state government's commitment to inclusive growth and infrastructure development across rural, urban and hilly regions.

The projects, implemented under the Revenue, Health and Education departments, are expected to strengthen public infrastructure, improve service delivery and enhance the socio-economic condition of people across the district. The initiatives cover a wide range of developmental works aimed at benefiting residents in towns, villages and remote hill areas.

Highlighting the significance of the projects, Dr. Saha said the government's primary objective is to ensure that the fruits of development reach every household and every community. He emphasized that special priority is being given to rural and tribal areas to ensure balanced and sustainable development throughout the state.

Sharing details of the programme on social media, the Chief Minister stated that the newly launched projects would play a crucial role in improving healthcare facilities, educational infrastructure and administrative services, while creating new opportunities for economic and social progress in Sepahijala district.

“Our government is continuously working to bring smiles to people's faces through development and good governance. These projects will provide significant benefits to the people of Sipahijala and further accelerate the district's growth,” Dr. Saha said.

The Chief Minister also lauded the transformation witnessed in Sepahijala over the years, stating that the district has moved beyond the social and political challenges of the past and is now advancing steadily on the path of development. He attributed this progress to the collective efforts of the district administration, public representatives and local residents.

Congratulating the people of Sipahijala and the district administration, Dr. Saha expressed confidence that the development initiatives would further strengthen the district's infrastructure and improve the quality of life of its citizens.

The ₹65.40 crore development package is expected to provide a major boost to public services and infrastructure in Sepahijala, reflecting the state government's broader vision of ensuring equitable development across Tripura.
