India Advises Nationals to Avoid Non-Essential Travel to Iran

The Indian Embassy in Tehran has issued a revised advisory for Indian nationals amid an improving security situation in Iran. While noting recent positive developments and an overall improvement in conditions, the Embassy has advised Indian citizens to continue avoiding all non-essential travel to Iran until further notice.
The advisory states that Indian nationals currently residing in Iran, as well as those who must travel to the country for unavoidable reasons, should exercise a high degree of caution, remain vigilant, and maintain constant situational awareness.
The Embassy has urged Indian citizens to closely monitor local developments through credible sources and follow instructions issued by local authorities. It has also advised all Indian nationals in Iran, and those arriving in the country, to register their details with the Embassy at the earliest opportunity.
In addition, the Embassy has asked Indian citizens to regularly check its official website and social media platforms for updates and further advisories.
