Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport and Tourism, Sushanta Chowdhury, on Saturday held another session of his popular “Janatar Darbar” at his official residence, listening to public grievances and assuring prompt action on issues affecting citizens.
People from the Majlishpur Assembly constituency, neighbouring constituencies and different parts of the state attended the programme to seek solutions to various civic and administrative problems. The minister personally interacted with the visitors, heard their concerns and assured them that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned authorities for necessary action.
Highlighting the importance of direct engagement with citizens, Chowdhury said that the Janatar Darbar serves as an effective platform for understanding the problems faced by people at the grassroots level and ensuring that their voices reach the government.
Officials present during the programme documented the complaints and requests submitted by the attendees. According to the minister’s office, the matters raised will be forwarded to the respective departments for follow-up and resolution.
The initiative reflects Chowdhury’s continued efforts to maintain close contact with the public and ensure responsive governance through regular interaction with citizens.
