PM Modi Says India Emerging as Trusted Global Partner

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India is emerging as a trusted partner to the world, emphasizing that trust has become as important as trade in shaping international relations.
Addressing the Indian diaspora in Paris, Modi said countries today are looking for reliable supply chains and stable long-term partnerships. He noted that India is investing across key sectors that will drive growth, innovation, and opportunities for future generations.
The Prime Minister described the current period as a defining phase in India’s development journey, with rising aspirations and rapid progress across various sectors. Referring to his participation in the G7 Summit, Modi said he stressed the need for global partnerships built on trust. He added that global governance can be effective only when it is inclusive, while sustainable growth must be shared by all nations.
Highlighting the challenges posed by global uncertainty and disruption, Modi said the India-France partnership has emerged as a strong pillar of trust, stability and cooperation. He noted that the two countries have elevated their ties to the level of a Special Global Strategic Partnership.
The Prime Minister also announced that India and France will launch the TRISHNA satellite next year. The satellite mission is expected to contribute to global water and food security efforts.
Modi further said that his government has completed 12 years in office and that India has witnessed transformative growth during this period. Beyond economic progress, he said, the country’s development journey has focused on empowering people and improving lives.
