Regular Field Visits to Keep Governance on Track: DM Tours Ishan Chandranagar GP

As part of the district administration's continuing effort to keep government schemes on track at the village level, West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar carried out a morning inspection of the Ishan Chandranagar Gram Panchayat area under Dukli Rural Development Block on Thursday, meeting local residents and officials to assess the reach of public welfare programmes.
The inspection got under way at 8 AM, with officers from various concerned departments accompanying the district magistrate. The visit was conducted to review ongoing development work and examine the ground-level implementation of government schemes.
Dr. Vishal Kumar spoke directly with residents, elected representatives, and government employees, taking stock of public service delivery and identifying areas where swift action was warranted. Infrastructure development, improvement of basic civic amenities, and the effective implementation of welfare programmes received particular focus during the inspection. Concerned departments were directed to address the issues raised by local residents at the earliest.
The district administration noted that such inspections are carried out on a regular basis and stand as a reflection of their broader commitment to accountability, uninterrupted scheme monitoring, and people-friendly governance across West Tripura.
