The Radhanagar Battalion of the Assam Rifles felicitated five students from remote tribal communities after they secured admission to the prestigious ITITI-Doon Sanskriti School in Dehradun, a leading residential institution dedicated to providing quality education to children from tribal and border areas.
The students were honoured at a special ceremony attended by their parents and Assam Rifles personnel. The event celebrated their academic achievement and recognised the hard work and determination that led to their successful selection.
As part of its educational outreach initiatives, the Assam Rifles had organised the entrance examination locally and provided preparatory coaching, guidance and mentoring to aspiring candidates. The support played a crucial role in helping the students qualify for admission to the reputed institution.
Addressing the gathering, Assam Rifles officers congratulated the students and encouraged them to utilise the opportunities available to them to build a bright future. They urged the young achievers to remain committed to their studies and strive for excellence in all fields.
The initiative reflects the Assam Rifles’ continued efforts to promote education and empower youth in remote and underserved regions. Through such programmes, the force aims to create opportunities for talented students and contribute to the socio-economic development of tribal and border communities.
