Minister Sushanta Chowdhury Calls for Youth-Led BJP Expansion

Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Wednesday called for greater involvement of young people in politics and nation-building while felicitating newly appointed BJP Tripura state president Abhishek Debroy at a party programme in Ranirbazar.
The felicitation ceremony and workers’ meeting, organised by the BJP Sadar (Rural) district unit at Gitajnali Hall, was attended by party leaders, office-bearers and workers from across the district.
Addressing the gathering, Chowdhury congratulated Debroy on his appointment and extended his best wishes on behalf of the 10 Majlishpur Mandal as well as in his personal capacity. Expressing confidence in the new state president’s leadership, the minister urged party workers to intensify efforts to bring the younger generation into the organisation.
He stressed that engaging youth in constructive activities and involving them in the nation-building process should be a key priority for the party. According to Chowdhury, greater youth participation would not only strengthen the BJP’s grassroots network but also contribute to the development of society and the country.
The minister also highlighted the importance of organisational unity and collective efforts to further expand the party’s reach among the people. He called upon workers to work with renewed enthusiasm under the leadership of the new state president.
Party workers and local leaders present at the meeting reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the organisation and expanding its presence across the district. The programme concluded with a pledge to enhance grassroots outreach and encourage greater participation of young people in party activities.
