MLA Bhagaban Das Highlights Grassroots Welfare at Kumarghat Camp

MLA Bhagaban Das on Wednesday attended the closing ceremony of a three-day public welfare camp held at the RD Block in Kumarghat, underscoring the government's commitment to taking welfare services directly to the people.
The camp, organized from June 15 to 17 as part of the celebrations marking the 12th anniversary of the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aimed to bring various government schemes and services closer to citizens. During the event, Bhagaban Das distributed cheques, certificates, and essential items among beneficiaries under different welfare programmes.
Addressing the gathering, the MLA described the initiative as a significant step towards ensuring inclusive development, public welfare, and effective service delivery at the grassroots level. He said such outreach programmes help strengthen public trust in government institutions while ensuring that eligible citizens receive the benefits they are entitled to.
Bhagaban Das emphasized that the government remains committed to the welfare and development of all sections of society and reiterated the importance of taking administrative services directly to the doorstep of the people. He also lauded the efforts of officials and local representatives involved in successfully conducting the camp.
The three-day programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from residents of the area, with beneficiaries availing themselves of various services and welfare benefits offered through different government departments.
