Minister Sushanta Chowdhury Urges Collective Effort for Viksit Bharat 2047


Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport and Tourism, Sushanta Chowdhury, on Saturday called upon citizens to actively participate in the mission of building a developed and self-reliant India, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Addressing the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sammelan’ held at Sonamura Town Hall in Sepahijala district, the minister highlighted the transformative journey undertaken by the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The programme was organized as part of the celebrations marking 12 years of service, good governance and welfare initiatives of the Central Government.

Speaking at the event, Chowdhury said that the dream of a developed India by 2047 is steadily becoming a reality through visionary leadership, effective governance and inclusive development. He stressed that the participation of every citizen is essential in achieving the goal of an empowered, prosperous and self-reliant nation.

The minister also emphasized the importance of ensuring that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach the last person in society. He urged all stakeholders to work collectively to extend the reach of various public welfare programmes to marginalized and underserved communities.

Reaffirming the government's commitment to service, good governance and welfare of the poor, Chowdhury called upon people to strengthen their resolve towards nation-building and contribute actively to India's development journey.
