CM Dr. Manik Saha Leads Push for Voluntary Blood Donation

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday urged citizens to “save lives by donating blood” in a message posted on his social media handle, and attended a blood-donation camp at the Ramkrishna Club in the Ramnagar area of Agartala to support the appeal.
The well-attended camp, organized in response to the chief minister’s call, brought together local volunteers, donors and organizers. Dr. Saha praised the initiative as a commendable display of civic responsibility and encouraged more people to come forward for voluntary blood donation.
Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder was also present at the event. Organizers said the drive reinforced ongoing efforts to maintain adequate blood stocks for hospitals across the city and highlighted the role of community participation in meeting urgent medical needs.
