Minister Sudhangshu Das Unveils New ARD Logo at TRESP Livestock Workshop

Minister for SC Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Sudhangshu Das on Thursday inaugurated a one-day state-level workshop and kit distribution programme for livestock owners at Pragya Bhavan in Agartala.
During the event, organised under the TRESP project with support from the Tribal Welfare Department, the Minister formally unveiled the new official logo of the Animal Resources Development (ARD) Department.
Addressing the gathering, Das praised the TRESP initiative for its role in improving the economic and social conditions of tribal communities in the state. He noted that the project has been effective in strengthening livelihood opportunities through improved livestock practices.
The workshop brought together livestock owners from across the state, providing hands-on training along with distribution of livestock kits. Officials said the initiative aims to enhance animal husbandry practices, strengthen veterinary support, and boost rural incomes among tribal households.
