Netanyahu Says Israel Ready for ‘All Scenarios’ on Iran
May 07, 2026
Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel is prepared for “all scenarios” in dealing with Iran, as diplomatic efforts between Tehran and Washington continue over Iran’s nuclear programme.
Speaking amid ongoing negotiations, Netanyahu stressed that Israel and the United States share the objective of preventing Iran from retaining enriched nuclear material. He also dismissed reports suggesting Israel had been caught off guard by Washington’s diplomatic engagement with Tehran, saying he remains in close and regular contact with Donald Trump to ensure full coordination.
Earlier, Trump issued a fresh warning to Iran, urging Tehran to agree to a deal to end the conflict or face a renewed wave of military strikes. At the same time, he indicated that progress had been made in talks and suggested a possible agreement could emerge soon, while reiterating that Iran must not obtain nuclear weapons.
Israeli officials have continued to support the possibility of renewed military action against Iran, arguing that the country’s nuclear capabilities and ballistic missile stockpiles remain a serious security concern.
