3 Snatchers Arrested with Car in Agartala Gang Bust

Police from East Agartala Police Station have arrested three suspected snatchers along with a vehicle in connection with an ongoing investigation into a city-linked snatching gang.
According to Inspector-in-Charge Subrata Deb Nath, the arrests were made following a specific complaint related to snatching incidents in the city. A targeted police operation led to the detention of the suspects, who are believed to have been using a car to move across different areas of Agartala and commit snatching offences.
Police officials further confirmed that two other suspects involved in the same case had already been arrested earlier. With the latest arrests, the total number of individuals apprehended in the case has risen to at least five.
Investigators are now examining CCTV footage and gathering additional evidence to trace the gang’s movements and determine their involvement in other snatching incidents reported across the city. Police also suspect that more individuals may be linked to the network and further arrests cannot be ruled out as the investigation continues.
