In a swift operation late Thursday night, Yatrapur Police Station rescued another Bangladeshi national from Ke Ke Nagar area under their jurisdiction, acting on a tip-off around 1 AM.
The individual, identified as Mohammad Abdul Baten, son of Kala Mia from Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, was apprehended during a joint raid with the Border Security Force (BSF). The team included Yatrapur PS OC Parth Nath Bhowmik, SI Vijay Chakraborty, local police personnel, and Tripura State Rifles (TSR) jawans.
Authorities are probing the motives behind Baten's illegal entry into India. Further details are awaited as investigations continue.
