RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat consecrates Maa Chinmayi Soundarya Temple in Tripura

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Tuesday attended the ‘Prana Pratishtha’ and ‘Kumbha Abhishekam’ ceremony of the Soundarya Chinmayi Mandir at Mohanpur, held at the Chinmaya Mission School premises.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Telangana Governor Jishu Dev Verma, Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu, Minister Ratan Lal Nath and others were present in the ceremony.
The newly constructed temple features a 15-foot-high idol of Maa Soundarya Chinmayi, intricately carved from a single block of granite stone. Set in a serene and open environment, the temple is adorned with 27 pillars inscribed with verses and teachings from the timeless Soundarya Lahari, composed by Adi Shankaracharya.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister expressed that the sacred site would emerge as a prominent center for education, spirituality, contemplation, devotion, and cultural inspiration in the coming days.
He highlighted that the integration of philosophical teachings with architectural beauty would inspire visitors to reflect on higher consciousness and universal connection.
