Devotees Mark Akshaya Tritiya in Honor of Sri Sri Ramthakur

Devotees across Agartala and other parts of Tripura observed Akshaya Tritiya with special devotion on Monday, commemorating its deep spiritual association with Sri Sri Ramthakur.

According to traditional belief, the revered saint was born, attained spiritual realization (siddhi), and left his mortal body on this very tithi, making the day uniquely significant for his followers. Ramthakur is widely regarded by devotees as a divine incarnation and spiritual guide.

Akshaya Tritiya is considered one of the most auspicious days in the Hindu calendar, believed to bestow lasting merit on all virtuous acts performed on this occasion. The day is also traditionally linked to the birth of Lord Parashuram and the beginning of the Treta Yuga.

Temples and ashrams dedicated to Sri Sri Ramthakur marked the occasion with special prayers, devotional songs, and religious discourses. For followers, the day serves as both a celebration and a moment of reflection on the life and teachings of Sri Sri Ramthakur.
