In a significant political development, Tipra Motha party supremo Pradyot Kishore Debbarma held a crucial meeting on Saturday with the Governor on to formally stake his claim for forming the government in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC). Accompanying the party chief were senior leaders including General Secretary Brishaketu Debbarma, Runiel Debbarma, SK Jamatia, and Purnachandra Jamatia.
This high-level meeting comes just days after Tipra Motha's resounding victory in the recently concluded ADC elections, where the party swept 24 out of the 28 available seats, decisively outperforming rivals including the BJP. The overwhelming mandate underscores the strong support for Tipra Motha's agenda among Tripura's tribal communities, particularly its push for greater autonomy and development in the tribal areas.
