Sudhangshu Das Calls for Inclusive Nation While Paying Tribute to Dr Ambedkar

Minister for SC Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Sudhangshu Das on Tuesday paid floral tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar during the 136th birth anniversary celebration held at the Ujjayanta Palace premises in Agartala.
The programme, organised by the Department of SC Welfare, was attended by several dignitaries, including Minister for Higher Education Kishor Barman and MLA Meena Rani Sarkar.
Speaking on the occasion, Das said Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals of equality, justice and empowerment continue to inspire the nation and guide efforts toward inclusive development. He said the government remains committed to strengthening social justice, expanding educational opportunities and ensuring the welfare of marginalised communities in line with Ambedkar’s vision.
He added that remembering Dr. Ambedkar’s contribution is essential to promoting harmony, equal rights and social progress in society.
The event marked a respectful tribute to the architect of the Indian Constitution, whose legacy continues to shape India’s democratic and social framework.
