CM Manik Saha Leads Massive BJP Push, Inducts 500 Voters

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Friday led a major political outreach in Taibandal, where he welcomed nearly 500 voters into the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), strengthening the party’s base ahead of the TTAADC elections.
The induction programme was spearheaded by former Tipra Motha candidate from Dhanpur Assembly constituency, Amiya Dayal Noatia, signaling a growing shift of support towards the BJP among tribal communities.
Addressing a massive gathering at 22 Kathalia Mirza Rajapur constituency, the Chief Minister strongly pitched for development-driven politics in the ADC. He criticized divisive narratives and asserted that people are now placing their trust in the BJP’s vision of progress and stability.
Highlighting key achievements, Dr. Saha stated that around 46% of houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana have been completed in ADC areas. He also noted an increase in daily financial assistance for tribal hostels, along with several welfare measures aimed at uplifting indigenous communities.
Calling for unity, the Chief Minister urged people to support the BJP in forming a “triple-engine government” in the ADC to accelerate development.
The rally was held in support of BJP candidate Padma Lochan Tripura, drawing a large turnout and reflecting strong grassroots momentum for the party.
