Indian Stock Markets Shut for Good Friday


Indian stock markets remained closed on Friday on account of Good Friday. Trading across all major segments, including equities, equity derivatives, securities lending and borrowing, as well as currency and commodity derivatives, was suspended for the day.

Both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) observed the holiday in line with the official market calendar. Market activity is expected to resume on the next working day as per the usual schedule.
